M. Bracy Johnson III

Executive Director/Site Manager

Manson B. Johnson III, better known as M. Bracy Johnson, is the current leader and trendsetter at EastSide University Community Learning Center (ESU).   After the untimely death of his predecessor, M. Bracy Johnson was unanimously voted to become the succeeding Executive Director of  Southeast Houston Community Development Corporation (SEHCDC), by the board of directors, the parent company of ESU.

Since his inception as Executive Director, EastSide University has made a strong impression on the City of Houston and Harris County to remain a premier destination for Adult Education.  ESU continues to serve the most vulnerable constituents of Houston’s Third Ward Community.  He follows the path of Dr. Johnson by maintaining and creating key partnerships that will continue to propel the organization forward into the present and future.

“I am glad to be chosen to lead this organization into the depths of the 21st Century”- M. Bracy Johnson III
